WiBB – WISE BUS BUNCHING

This has been the first experience that has shown me the potential of technology in urban system design. Here I had the opportunity to interact with experts from different sectors to experience the power of multidisciplinarity applied to the field of urban design.

The hackathon was organized by TIM WCAP together with Tree, his partner, in the “The Future of the City” project dedicated to innovation in the smart city and smart community environment in Sicily.

With my team, HackTribe, we developed “WBB (Wise Bus Bunching): the first intelligent line bus service with timetable and fixed stops but with dynamic path“

</ p>
The bus is informed in real-time about traffic conditions and the state of the road surface, the algorithm suggests in real-time the fastest and most qualitative route.

Through the use of the TIM Open API, the TIM JOL API (Join Open Lab), as well as the solutions IoT installed in the TIM Business Innovation Center.
