A DYNAMIC SURFACE PROTOTYPE

This project starts from the idea to design an interactive installation that becomes dynamic through a panel controlled by visitors.

 
In our prototype, the actuation for the deformations is achieved through the force of pulling by tie-rods controlled through 3 mechanical arms that integrate coils connected to surface nodes.

 
Each node is corresponds one point of the panel controlled by visitors.

 
The installation seeks to engage the visitors of all ages through playful discovery, using this engagement to connect people to a surface and his mutable shape.
At the moment we are working on some aspects related to functional and mechanical operations.
