The video describes a project that was carried out during 2017 as an association (Whole_urban regeneration) in Catania, in collaboration with Save The Children in the San Giovanni Palermo neighbourhood.

Participatory design is proposed not only as a tool for urban regeneration but also as an active anti-mafia action on the territory.

We observed how, by working on a common space, on a common good, the group had improved their relationship.
But not only that! A sense of ownership and care for the public space was established.

It is from the youngest citizens that we have to start if we want to rethink an urban space in a more sustainable way!

Because a healthy and happy community regenerates its places, creating better neighbourhoods and active citizens.
